Citizen Chain is a fully onchain CC0 PFP collection for the culturally exhausted. No roadmap. No fake utility. No permission needed.
A collection built around a simple refusal: culture should not need an API key, a gatekeeper, or a fragile server to keep existing.
Citizen Chain is a 36x36 pixel fully onchain CC0 NFT collection. The artwork, metadata, and rendering logic are intended to survive platform decay, broken links, disappearing startups, and shifting marketplaces.
The contract is built on top of the SeaDrop protocol with fully onchain asset storage, composable SVG rendering, and an open-source deployment architecture intended to be studied, forked, remixed, and preserved by future builders.
No hidden CDN dependencies. No fragile metadata server. No permission required to archive, distribute, reference, or build on top of your Citizen.
CC0 was chosen because culture becomes stronger when ownership can't be gate-kept. Stop asking for permission and be free.

Citizen Chain is built from a large trait system of backgrounds, bodies, outfits, eyes, hair, mouths, headwear, accessories, flowers, glasses, suits, jewelry, and more.
The collection uses 200+ hand-drawn pixel traits arranged through a curated ruleset designed to eliminate broken combinations, overused pairings, and lazy randomness.
Wallet support uses RainbowKit for MetaMask, Coinbase/Base Wallet, Rainbow, Rabby, WalletConnect, and other common Ethereum wallets.

Permanence Over Promises
Citizen Chain will be minting through OpenSea's SeaDrop flow. The Citizens stay hidden until the collection reveal, shortly after minting out.
Token assignment will be shuffled before reveal, preventing bots and bad actors from sniping specific artwork during mint all the way up to reveal. You mint a Citizen first. The identity is revealed later. No sniping.
After reveal, the artwork, metadata, assignment, and SSTORE2 storage structure are meant to be publicly verifiable on Base. No hidden metadata server. No fragile image host. No "trust us" reveal. This reveal process allows the final assignment to be checked against the reveal seed, proving that the collection was shuffled fairly.

Is it CC0?+
Yes. The artwork is intended to be CC0: use it, abuse it, love it, display it, tear it down, build it back up again, drag it somewhere strange. Read the CC0 dedication.
Is the contract open source?+
Yes. The contract will be open sourced after deployment so chads can fork it and do with it as they please.
Where does the art live?+
Fully onchain. Citizen Chain stores artwork layer data directly on Base using permanent onchain storage contracts and SSTORE2 blob patterns rather than relying on IPFS gateways or external servers. Token metadata and rendering logic are generated onchain, allowing the collection to remain retrievable anywhere the Base chain itself continues to exist.
Will it mint through OpenSea?+
Yes. Citizen Chain will use OpenSea as the official mint page through SeaDrop. Final links will be posted before mint.
Is there a roadmap?+
No roadmap. No fake utility. The point is permanence, permissionlessness, and culture that can be copied. R@SE3UD.
What about royalties?+
The contract includes a 5% EIP-2981 royalty on secondary token sales. No royalty is owed for using the artwork itself.
